Spectrum Mobile is one of our leading clients, and in order to create awareness, announce grand openings, or show their customers gratitude for their continued business they host meet and greets with fellow team sponsors like the LA Dodgers and LA Lakers. This particular event took place at the store front, as well as on the Santa Monica promenade. It was all sunshine and smiles that day when visitors not only got to pose in front of a lenticular wall and partake in a fun baseball-themed ring toss, but they also got up close and personal with center-fielder, Alex Verdugo.

Objective

The ask given to me, was to create various pieces for the meet and greet, like flyers to promote the event at the spot in the promenade, headshots for Verdugo to sign, as well as interactive pieces like the lenticular wall for “instagrammable” moments and boomerangs, as well as graphics and design for the custom built ring toss. Everything from the backdrops to the carpets were custom created using assets that I was given, as well as using my own creative licensing and sourcing stock images to full represent LA and the Dodgers, as well as keeping the Spectrum Mobile guidelines in mind.

Lenticular Graphics

These vibrant and original eye-catching designs were created specifically for the Santa Monica Promenade. I communicated with a vendor specifically located in the area to make sure I executed and prepped the file correctly for production. These designs were created with the effect of the lenticular wall itself—as you move the image changes, and I thought how great would it be to represent Santa Monica than with the image of the skyline going from sunrise to sunset.

Things like the ring toss were created purely from imagination. I had an idea that I flushed out, and thoroughly considered dimensions and placement of the pegs and worked with our in-house fabrication team to create this custom ring toss game to excite and engage visitors to the promenade.
